INSTRUCTOR

• Lead teachers of the workshop

• Teach at least 2 classes

• May be asked to observe an Associate Instructor

• Preference given to SAFD instructors of CT, FD, and/or FM rank, equivalent instructor qualifications from another stage combat training entity, or significant industry expertise coupled with a background in education

 Compensation:

• $35 per class taught

• $20 bump for AI observation

• on-campus meals provided

• on-campus housing provided

• Travel reimbursement up to $300

Invitations may also be sent for select Instructor positions

3 positions available

Associate instuctor (ai)

• Teachers receiving mentorship in teaching pedagogy & practice

• Teach at least 1 class

• Partnered with Instructor mentor

• Also serve as workshop Teaching Assistants

• Priority given to SAFD Intermediate or Advanced Actor Combatants  

Compensation:

• $25 per day as AI

• $25 per day to TA

• On-campus meals and housing provided

Teaching Assistant (TA)

• Assist Instructors and Associate Instructors in instructing classes.

• Priority given to SAFD Intermediate or Advanced Actor Combatants 

Compensation:

• $25 per day as TA

Production Assistant (pA)

• Assist Coordination team in supporting and "stage managing" the workshop

• Transport equipment to and from classroom spaces

• Partner in for odd-numbered classes

• Assist in equipment maintenance 

• Assist in load-in and load-out for the workshop

Compensation:

• $25 per day as PA

• On-campus meals and housing provided
